My Story

 I’m Maeleen Arroyo, a Chicago-based graphic designer and illustrator with a lifelong passion for art and creative expression. From the time I could hold a pencil, I’ve been captivated by the process of bringing ideas to life. Drawing became a cornerstone of my childhood, and I spent countless hours exploring traditional art. Everything shifted when I discovered digital art—it was love at first pixel!

Now, I’m continually learning and growing as a designer, pushing creative boundaries and refining my skills. I draw inspiration from the energy of Chicago, the connections I make with others, and the unexpected beauty in everyday life. For me, creativity thrives when you embrace new experiences, and that philosophy guides my approach to both design and life.

Desde que pude sostener un lápiz, me ha fascinado el proceso de dar vida a las ideas. Dibujar se convirtió en una parte fundamental de mi infancia, y pasé incontables horas explorando el arte tradicional. Todo cambió cuando descubrí el arte digital: ¡fue amor a primera vista!

    Hoy en día, sigo aprendiendo y creciendo como diseñadora, desafiando los límites creativos y perfeccionando mis habilidades. Encuentro inspiración en la energía de Chicago, en las conexiones que hago con otras personas y en la belleza inesperada de la vida cotidiana. Para mí, la creatividad florece cuando abrazamos nuevas experiencias, y esa filosofía guía mi enfoque tanto en el diseño como en la vida.
