Honey is a digital piece inspired by Amber Lucid’s song Eyes, specifically the lyric, “Sweet honey, I can feel you in my veins.” It made me think of a warm ray of sunshine, so I brought that idea to life with a glowing, honey-like light behind the girl. She’s dancing—or maybe drifting—peacefully, lost in the warmth and calm of the moment. This piece was all about capturing that feeling of lightness and warmth, like a sunny day that stays with you.
